Udham Singh Nagar is a district located in the state of Uttarakhand in Kumaon Region, India. It was carved out of the Nainital district and came into existence on 30th September 1995. The district is named after the legendary freedom fighter Udham Singh, who played a significant role in India's struggle for independence.
