Bhavishya Badri Temple Travel Guide

Bhavishya Badri Temple is a Hindu temple located in the Uttarakhand state of India. It is one of the Panch Badri temples, which are a group of five sacred shrines dedicated to Lord Vishnu.

The temple is located in the Subhain village in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, at an altitude of 2,744 meters above sea level. It is surrounded by the majestic Himalayan mountain range and offers breath-taking views of the surrounding landscapes. The temple is accessible by a motor able road up to a certain point, after which visitors have to trek for about 6 kilometres to reach the temple. Bhavishya Badri is an important pilgrimage site for Hindus, and is visited by thousands of devotees every year, especially during the Char Dham Yatra, a religious pilgrimage to the four sacred shrines of Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath.

According to Hindu Legend Guru Adi Shankaracharya when Kal Yuga will befall on mankind, the Nara and Narayann mountains will collapse and block the route to reach Badrinath Dham. And when Temple become inaccessible to reach, Lord Badrinath will appear in Bhavishya Badi Temple.

The best time to visit Bhavishya Badri Temple is during the summer months from May to June and September to October, when the weather is pleasant and the skies are clear. During this time, the temperatures are moderate, and the days are sunny, making it ideal for outdoor activities such as trekking and sightseeing.

The monsoon season from July to August should be avoided as heavy rains can make the roads and trekking routes difficult to traverse, and the area is prone to landslides. If still you are planning to visit during monsoon, be update with weather and roads conditions.

The winter months from November to April are also not recommended for visiting as the temperatures can drop to sub-zero levels, and the roads leading to the temple can be blocked due to heavy snowfall.
