At an elevation of 3600m above the sea level, Rudranath a famous Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva is situated in Chamoli District, Garhwal Region – Uttarakhand. Rudranath is the fourth temple to be visited in the Panch Kedar pilgrimage circuit, comprising five Shiva temples in the Garhwal region. The face of Lord Shiva is worshipped in Rudranath Temple and is the toughest one to reach in comparision with other temples of Panch Kedar. There are three different trek routes to Reach Rudranath Temple:

Route 1: This trek route to Rudranath starts from Sagar Village which is around 5 km from Gopeshwar Town. You can hire taxi from Gopeshwar to reach Sagar Village, then there is 20 km trek distance from Sagar village to Rudranath Temple.

Route 2: Second trek option is from Gangolgaon which is around 3 km from Gopeshwar Town. There is around 17km Trek distance from Gangolgaon to Rudranath Temple and you will love explore Panar and Naila Shepherd Colonies with panoramic views of Himalayan peaks.

Route 3: Another Route is from Mandal Village and total distance is 15 km from Gopeshwar to Rudranath Temple via Anusuya Devi Temple.

These trekking routes to Rudranath Temple offers adorable mini Bugyals including Leuti Bugyal, Pung Bugyal, Panar Bugyal etc. and panoramic views of snow-capped Himalayan peaks.

Basic Trek Route to Rudranath trek starts from Sagar Village, Chamoli – which is around 5 km from Gopeshwar Town. Gopeshwar Town is well connected with motorable raods and several major towns.

The best time to visit Rudranath Temple is during the summer months of April to June and the autumn months of September to November. These seasons offer favorable weather conditions and provide a wonderful experience for pilgrims and nature enthusiasts.

During winters from December to March, this place experiences cold winters with temperatures dropping below freezing point. During peak winter, the region receives heavy snowfall, which can make accessibility challenging. However, for those seeking a unique spiritual experience amidst a winter wonderland, this period can be rewarding. Adequate winter clothing and careful planning are essential during this time.

Ii is advised to avoid travelling Rudranath mahadev Temple during Monsoon. Still if you are planning during Monsoon Season, be update with roads and weather condition.

  3. At Camps, Bonfire will be provided according to weather conditions.
  4. For the Trek, there is fees for trekking permits and forest campsites.
  5. Trekking Supplies (Tents, Sleeping Bags, Ice Axes, Ropes, etc.)
  6. Expert Trek Leaders will there to Guide (Certified in basic/advanced mountaineering courses)
  7. A skilled trek crew (Guides, Chefs, Assistants, porters/mules) is available.
  8. Protective Gear (First Aid Kit, Medical Kit, Oxygen cylinders (if necessary), stretcher, etc.)
  9. Trek Certificate for Completion.
  10. Basic Survival Techniques in forest by using natural resources etc.

  1. GST (Service Tax)
  2. Offloading Fees for Backpacks (Rs.250 Per day/Per bag)
  3. Food on the way to Base and from Pick and Drop

Cancellation Policy

At the time of booking, full payment is required.

For the Cancellation due to any reasons, Uttarakhand Guide must be notified of the same in writing at uttarakhandguide@gmail.com. At the time we receive your written cancellation statement, refunds policies will be applicable according to following conditions:

 

Cancellation before 30 days from the start of Trip

10 % will be deducted from total

 

Cancellation between 21 to 30 Days from start of Trip

35 % will be deducted

 

Cancellation between 10 to 21 Days from start of Trip

50 % will be deducted

 

Cancellation less than 10 days from start of Trip

No amount will be refunded

 

Note: After the cancellation date, the refund will be handled within 10 working days.

Cancellation fees will be determined based on the total trip cost, and they may vary depending on the date of departure and the date of cancellation.

 

There will be no refunds:

  • For any missed/unused tour services, including meals, owing to any reason.
  • If the tour's services are changed, altered, revised, cancelled, or not used.
  • If a customer cancels or is forced to cancel the tour due to changes in the itinerary or travel
