At an elevation of 3600m above the sea level, Rudranath a famous Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva is situated in Chamoli District, Garhwal Region – Uttarakhand. Rudranath is the fourth temple to be visited in the Panch Kedar pilgrimage circuit, comprising five Shiva temples in the Garhwal region. The face of Lord Shiva is worshipped in Rudranath Temple and is the toughest one to reach in comparision with other temples of Panch Kedar. Route 1: This trek route to Rudranath starts from Sagar Village which is around 5 km from Gopeshwar Town. You can hire taxi from Gopeshwar to reach Sagar Village, then there is 20 km trek distance from Sagar village to Rudranath Temple.
Route 2: Second trek option is from Gangolgaon which is around 3 km from Gopeshwar Town. There is around 17km Trek distance from Gangolgaon to Rudranath Temple and you will love explore Panar and Naila Shepherd Colonies with panoramic views of Himalayan peaks.
Route 3: Another Route is from Mandal Village and total distance is 15 km from Gopeshwar to Rudranath Temple via Anusuya Devi Temple.
