There are total 13 districts in Uttarakhand, popularly known as Dev Bhooomi Uttarakhand, under Kumaon and Garhwal divisions. Division of districts in Uttarakhand as Kumaon and Garhwal:

Kumaon Division : Champawat, Pithoragarh, Udham Singh Nagar, Nainital, Almora and Bageshwar. Garhwal Division : Chamoli, Pauri Garhwal, Rudraprayag, Tehri Garhwal, Haridwar, Uttarkashi and Dehradun.
