Day 1: Kathgodam to Munsiyari (300km, 8 to 9 hours drive)

Start your journey from kathgodam to Munsiyari which is around 300km distance. You can also use shared taxies or hire entire one.

 

Day 2: Munsiyari to Bhujani Village via Balanti Band (9 km, 4-5 hours)

Drive from Munsiyari to Balanti Band and start your trek after checking in from govt. registration. Trek till Bhujani Village which is around 2 km from Balanti Band. Stay overnight there.

 

Day 3: Bhujani (Khaliya Top Base Camp) to Khaliya Top (15 km, 8-9 hours)

On the third day, trekkers will trek to the Khaliya Top, which is situated at an altitude of 3600 meters. The trek involves a steep ascent, but the views from the top are worth it. Trekkers can spend some time at the top, taking in the panoramic views of the Himalayan range, before descending back to the base camp for overnight camping.

 

Day 4: Khaliya Top Base Camp to Balanti to Munsiyari (13 km, 6-7 hours)

On the fourth day, trekkers will descend back to Balanti and then trek back to Munsiyari. The trek involves a steep descent, and trekkers need to be careful while descending. Once back in Munsiyari, trekkers can explore the town and interact with the locals.

 

Day 5: Munsiyari to Kathgodam (300km, 8 to 9 hours drive)

It is not recommended to visit Khaliya Top trek during the monsoon season, which is from July to August, as the trekking trails can be slippery and dangerous due to heavy rainfalls. If you are still planning to visit during Monsoon season, be update with roads and weather conditions.

If you love to explore in winters and want to experience snowfall and snow around, best time to visit Khaliya Top trek during winters is from December to March month.

  6. Expert Trek Leaders will there to Guide (Certified in basic/advanced mountaineering courses)
  7. A skilled trek crew (Guides, Chefs, Assistants, porters/mules) is available.
  8. Protective Gear (First Aid Kit, Medical Kit, Oxygen cylinders (if necessary), stretcher, etc.)
  9. Trek Certificate for Completion.
  10. Basic Survival Techniques in forest by using natural resources etc.

  1. GST (Service Tax)
  2. Offloading Fees for Backpacks (Rs.250 Per day/Per bag)
  3. Food on the way to Base and from Pick and Drop

Cancellation Policy

At the time of booking, full payment is required.

For the Cancellation due to any reasons, Uttarakhand Guide must be notified of the same in writing at uttarakhandguide@gmail.com. At the time we receive your written cancellation statement, refunds policies will be applicable according to following conditions:

 

Cancellation before 30 days from the start of Trip

10 % will be deducted from total

 

Cancellation between 21 to 30 Days from start of Trip

35 % will be deducted

 

Cancellation between 10 to 21 Days from start of Trip

50 % will be deducted

 

Cancellation less than 10 days from start of Trip

No amount will be refunded

 

Note: After the cancellation date, the refund will be handled within 10 working days.

Cancellation fees will be determined based on the total trip cost, and they may vary depending on the date of departure and the date of cancellation.

 

There will be no refunds:

  • For any missed/unused tour services, including meals, owing to any reason.
  • If the tour's services are changed, altered, revised, cancelled, or not used.
  • If a customer cancels or is forced to cancel the tour due to changes in the itinerary or travel
