Day 1: Dehradun to Barsu (188 km)

The first day of the trek is dedicated to travel from Dehradun to Barsu village, which is the starting point of the trek. You can hire a taxi or take a local bus from Dehradun to Barsu. The journey takes around 8-9 hours. Once you reach Barsu, check into your accommodation and rest for the night.

 

Day 2: Barsu to Barnala Tal (5 km trek)

After breakfast, start your trek to Barnala Tal, a beautiful lake surrounded by dense forests. The trek is relatively easy and takes around 3-4 hours to complete. Upon reaching Barnala Tal, set up your campsite and rest for the night.

 

Day 3: Barnala Tal to Dayara Bugyal (5 km trek)

On the third day, trek to Dayara Bugyal, a beautiful high-altitude meadow. The trek takes around 4-5 hours and offers stunning views of the Himalayas. Upon reaching Dayara Bugyal, explore the meadow, and enjoy the panoramic views. Set up your campsite and rest for the night.

 

Day 4: Dayara Bugyal to Bakaria Top (3 km trek)

On the fourth day, trek to Bakaria Top, a scenic spot that offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. The trek is relatively easy and takes around 2-3 hours to complete. After reaching Bakaria Top, explore the area and enjoy the views. Set up your campsite and rest for the night.

 

Day 5: Bakaria Top to Barsu (9 km trek) and back to Dehradun

Day fifth will be your last day of your journey to Dayara Bugyal Trek. Start trek back to Barsu early morning and drive back to Dehradun After breakfast.

The best time to visit Dayara Bugyal is during the summer months from May to June and September to November. During this time, the weather is pleasant with clear skies, mild temperatures, and minimal rainfall. This makes it ideal for trekking and camping, as the trails are dry and the views are spectacular.

If you are interested in winter sports like skiing and snowboarding, then the best time to visit Dayara Bugyal is from December to February when the slopes are covered with snow. However, do keep in mind that the temperature can drop below freezing during this time, so you will need to be prepared with warm clothing and equipment.

  7. A skilled trek crew (Guides, Chefs, Assistants, porters/mules) is available.
  8. Protective Gear (First Aid Kit, Medical Kit, Oxygen cylinders (if necessary), stretcher, etc.)
  9. Trek Certificate for Completion.
  10. Basic Survival Techniques in forest by using natural resources etc.

Cancellation Policy

At the time of booking, full payment is required.

For the Cancellation due to any reasons, Uttarakhand Guide must be notified of the same in writing at uttarakhandguide@gmail.com. At the time we receive your written cancellation statement, refunds policies will be applicable according to following conditions:

 

Cancellation before 30 days from the start of Trip

10 % will be deducted from total

 

Cancellation between 21 to 30 Days from start of Trip

35 % will be deducted

 

Cancellation between 10 to 21 Days from start of Trip

50 % will be deducted

 

Cancellation less than 10 days from start of Trip

No amount will be refunded

 

Note: After the cancellation date, the refund will be handled within 10 working days.

Cancellation fees will be determined based on the total trip cost, and they may vary depending on the date of departure and the date of cancellation.

There will be no refunds:

  • For any missed/unused tour services, including meals, owing to any reason.
  • If the tour's services are changed, altered, revised, cancelled, or not used.
  • If a customer cancels or is forced to cancel the tour due to changes in the itinerary or travel
