Augustmuni Town

Augustmuni is a Town named after Rishi Augustya is situated on the bank of Holy River Mandakani in Rudraprayag District, Garhwal Region Uttarakhand. Around 16 km from Rudraprayag city, a famous Augustmuni Temple is located here dedicated to Rishi Augustya, one of the original seven Rishis or Saptrishis.

In terms of facilities like Education, Health Care, Private and public working all are available in Augustmuni. The State Government runs several schools in town including Rose Mount Academy, Saraswati Vidhya Mandir School, Saraswati Shishu Mandir, and Govt. Inter Colleges, Rising Era Academy, Kedriya Vidhyalaya etc.
