Bhowali – Heart of Uttarakhand’s Fruit Belt

Bhowali is a natural paradise, Situated at an elevation of 1654 m, scenic Bhowali is a gateway to the Kumaon region. Surrounded by several lakes, lush forests, fruit orchards and tea estates, one can buy fresh fruits like peaches, strawberries, apricots, apples, plums here. Situated at a junction to roads leading to Mukteshwar, Bhimtal, and Ranikhet, Bhowali is popular for its salubrious climate and offers convenient base for exploring the region. It also offers a great diversity of birds and has several greenhouses, where exotic plants and herbs are cultivated and some of the best of the views of the snow-capped mountains and lush green forests.

Golu Devta Temple also called “temple of the bells” located in Bhowali is an alluring place to visit while being on a vacation.
